SAHPOO VETERANS DAY 5K RUN/WALK

SAHPOO Veterans Day 5K – Supporting Our Veterans

Honor Their Service. Carry Their Name.

Join the San Antonio Hispanic Police Officers Organization (SAHPOO) on Saturday, November 7, 2026, for a special Veterans Day 5K dedicated to supporting and honoring our nation’s veterans.

The 5K will start and finish at Milam Park in Downtown San Antonio, where participants, families, veterans, and members of the community can come together for a morning of remembrance, celebration, and appreciation.

Whether you run, jog, or walk, everyone is welcome.

Who Are You Running or Walking For?

Every participant’s race bib will have a special place to write the name of a veteran they are running or walking in honor of.

It could be a parent, grandparent, spouse, family member, friend, coworker, or any veteran whose service has made an impact on your life.

One bib. One name. One veteran honored.

When we line up at Milam Park, we won’t just be wearing race numbers. We’ll be carrying the names and stories of the veterans who served our country.

More Than a 5K

The celebration begins and ends at Milam Park, where runners, walkers, veterans, families, and supporters can gather for a morning of community and entertainment.
