The San Antonio Hispanic Police Officers Organization (SAHPOO) proudly invites the community to honor our nation’s heroes at the annual Veterans Day 5K. Taking place on Saturday, November 8, 2025, in Downtown San Antonio, this patriotic run brings together families, friends, and supporters in celebration of America’s veterans.
Runners of all ages and fitness levels are welcome to participate in the spirited event, which combines fitness, community pride, and respect for those who have served in the armed forces. Participants will receive exclusive race swag, including a commemorative shirt and medal featuring the
Veterans Day 5K logo.
Following the run, the celebration continues with the United States Military Veterans Parade, an annual tradition that transforms the streets of San Antonio into a tribute of gratitude and patriotism. Spectators will enjoy marching bands, decorated floats, military tributes, and organizations honoring veterans past and present.
“This is more than just a run—it’s a way for our community to unite, celebrate our freedoms, and show appreciation for the men and women who protect them,” said Frances Ochoa, President of SAHPOO.
